Happy 4th of July!

The 4th of July, also known as Independence Day, is a public holiday celebrated in the United States of America. This day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 which declared our freedom from the British Colonies!

This day is celebrated with family, friends, hot dogs, watermelon, parades and fireworks! Wearing red, white and blue, the colors of our flag is another way we represent America. I don’t think there is any other holiday that represents down home Americana like July 4th.

This July 4th we have even more reason to celebrate! We have our independence from Covid-19! This year so many of us are free from wearing masks and are free to gather together! Even with all of that said, we still have much to do and overcome! Just as our forefathers worked together so many years ago to insure our future, we need to continue to do the same now!

God Bless America

My Home, Sweet Home!
