Sunshine and Sunflowers

These days I am so appreciative of the beautiful Sunshine and beautiful blossoming Sunflowers! At Stade’s Farm in Johnsburg, you can actually cut your very own cheerful looking Sunflowers to bring home to enjoy!

These past 4 months I feel like I have been holding my breath, afraid to exhale! There has been one catastrophic happening after the next. Part of being Irish is living with the old adage of waiting for the other shoe to drop, plus drinking an amazing Guinness! It’s not healthy always waiting for the other shoe to drop! I want to be able to exhale and live a life free of fear!

I wish there was an easy answer to fix everything our Nation is experiencing right now! I do know that living a life that has more faith than fear and more sunshine than darkness is a beginning! Finding a way to balance and focus on all of the good in our lives and still be a part of the solution for all of the wrong is a start!

These next 4 months and the 4 months after that need to be different! I have great faith that together we can create positive change for ourselves and others! It just takes one breath at a time, one step at a time and one act of kindness at a time!

Start each day with a positive thought and a grateful heart! – Roy T. Bennett
